Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruus feints and as Bonny raises his hands in defense, Ruus changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bonny got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ruus has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bonny has managed to get both his arms back between Ruus's legs - danger averted.

Bonny changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ruus looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Bonny sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Ruus doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Bonny paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Ruus - great work!
