Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Blagg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Young is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Classic. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nathan Blagg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Young! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Columbo Gatti and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Young swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Young misses with a series of wild punches.
Young tries a head kick but it misses.
Young lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Nathan Blagg has been cut. Blagg tries to score a power double leg takedown but Young sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Blagg somewhat. Blagg showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Young.
Blagg dodges the punch combination from Young.
Young throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
No joy there for Young, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blagg looks for a takedown but Young sprawls well. Young drops Blagg with a beautiful combination! Blagg stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Young is looking for the KO! Blagg moves in looking to clinch but Young pushes him off. Paul Young is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Blagg shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Young's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Blagg drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Young dives on top into guard. Young trying to stand up but can't free himself from Blagg's guard. Blagg isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Young stacks Blagg on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Young! Blagg is breathing heavily. Young stands up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Young scores with a nice strike. Young lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blagg circles away quickly and effectively. Young with a jab. Blagg slips a jab and a cross from Young.

Blagg tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Young swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan Blagg. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Blagg looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A punch combination from Young misses. Young misses with a series of wild punches.
Young throws a right and a left that both miss. Blagg takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Young fails to land with a series of punches.

Young wants to stand and escape but Blagg is having none of it. Blaggis looking to pass into half guard but Young pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Young is in guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Blagg looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Young passes into side control.

Young closes the distance and lands a one-two. Young throws a head kick that misses. Blagg takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Young throws a right and a left that Blagg avoids nicely. Young fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blagg takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Blagg checks a leg kick. Young stuffs the takedown attempt from Blagg. Blagg gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan Blagg. That's going to take a lot out of him. Young lands with a nice combination. Blagg backs away looking to recover. Young scores with a jab to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Blagg feints and as Young raises his hands in defense, Blagg changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Blagg looking to sit in guard and control but Young gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Blagg has a closed guard, preventing Young from standing up. Blagg is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Young defends well. Blagg wants to sweep here but Young controlling him for the moment.

Blagg is looking for a sweep. Young is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Young decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Young bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Young swinging wilding here.
Blagg keeps the fight on the outside. Young fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Young misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blagg closes the distance and clinches up with Young, looking for a takedown. Blagg pushes Young against the cage but Young circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Young fails to land with a series of punches.
Young looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Young misses with a head kick.

Paul Young showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Nathan Blagg's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Blagg trying to control the position from guard on top but Young is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Blagg sitting in guard, not really doing much. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Young throws a series of punches but Blagg moves out of range. Young is looking to clinch. Blagg closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Young to the mat! Young manages to get full guard. Blagg trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Young manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Blagg had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Young defends it easily. Young won't allow Blagg to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blagg looking for subs off his back but Young has passed one foot through into half guard.
Young escapes and gets back to his feet. Nathan Blagg has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Young thows a body shot but no joy. Young misses with a series of wild punches.

And that's the end of the fight! Paul Young comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Young winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
