Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Viljo Laine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Fertit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fertit has chosen Thunderstruck as his entrance music. The key to victory for Viljo Laine has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Viljo Laine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mike Fertit!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laine misses with a looping right.
Fertit looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Fertit misses with a head shot. Laine uses the momentum to regain guard.
Fertit stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Laine swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fertit in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fertit is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Laine is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Laine has escaped and now he's on top!
Laine tries to stand but Fertit is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fertit throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Fertit has his foot on Laine's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Laine works his way back into a safe position though.
Laine has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Laine trying to control but Fertit is working from the bottom.
Fertit wants to stand and escape but Laine is having none of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fertit dives in and grabs Laine's left leg, looking for a takedown. Laine pushes down on Fertit's head and hops out.
Fertit shoots for a double leg takedown but Laine sprawls well. He's pushed Fertit's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fertit shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Laine pinned against the cage. Laine gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Viljo Laine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Fertit.
Fertit looks gassed!
Fertit wants to clinch up but Laine keeps it at a distance.
Laine paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Mike Fertit has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fertit tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Laine swivels and escapes.
Laine connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Laine connects with a superb combination that knocks Fertit out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Laine before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Fertit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Viljo Laine!
