Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nate Shelby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiron Menezes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shelby comes into the arena with Amazing blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menezes takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Menezes gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Shelby.
Shelby scores with a three punch combo!
Menezes misses with a looping right.
Menezes throws a hook but Shelby blocks it.
Menezes misses with a double jab
and Shelby counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Shelby avoids a punch combination nicely.
Menezes swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Shelby counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shelby bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Menezes takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Shelby's corner calls for a 1-2. Shelby obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Menezes is rocked!

and Shelby counters with a left to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shelby throws an overhand right that drops Menezes like a sack of potatoes! Shelby dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
