Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, SaioG Snake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Israel Garcia!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Snake has taken the fight to the clinch.

Snake manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Garcia is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Snake is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Snake has escaped and now he's on top!
Snake trying to control the position from guard on top but Garcia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Snake is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Snake will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Garcia throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Snake slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Snake postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Garcia is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Snake, into his guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Garcia lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Snake uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Garcia shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Snake as he avoids it easily.

Garcia looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
SaioG Snake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Israel Garcia.
Garcia fails to land the takedown.

Snake moves into the clinch.

Snake manages to break the clinch.

Snake shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Garcia napping and manages to drive through into side control!
You can see the frustration on Garcia's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Garcia throws a punch from the bottom, which has left him a bit exposed here… Snake has an arm triangle now. This could be big trouble for Garcia. He's out! He's out cold! The ref pulls Snake off and Snake celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). SaioG Snake!
