Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Cote IV (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Hammit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mark Hammit will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrei Cote IV!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Hammit!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammit is looking to clinch.
A shot to de liver by Hammit. Beautiful body shot.
Hammit tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cote IV swivels and escapes.

Cote IV moves into the clinch.
Hammit tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Cote IV smiles and moves away.

Hammit lands a big head kick that sends Cote IV tumbling to the mat! Hammit takes a step backwards and waves Cote IV back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Andrei Cote IV has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cote IV shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hammit napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Hammit stops Cote IV from passing to mount.
Hammit tries to bench press Cote IV off him but Cote IV keeps the position.
Hammit wants to control but Cote IV postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammit tries to improve position but can't.

Hammit manages to work his way to half guard, despite Cote IV's best efforts.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cote IV perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Hammit feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round but I would say that Andrei Cote IV will probably get the nod.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

I really don't envy Hammit right now.
Hammit is trying to get back to his feet but Cote IV has full control of the position and if anything, Hammit has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Cote IV is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Cote IV swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hammit is now in Cote IV's guard. A big mistake from Cote IV there, giving up the dominant position!

Cote IV is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Hammit rolls with it to try and escape but Cote IV cranks on the arm and Hammit is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
