Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kid Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emond Teach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kid Torres! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Emond Teach! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Teach goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Teach looks to land a combination but Torres avoids it well. Torres doesn't manage to clinch there - Teach circles away.
Torres's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Torres duly obliges.
It looks like Emond Teach has been cut. Teach closes the distance and clinches. Torres successfully pulls guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Teach postures up and lands a big shot to Torres's brow. Teach wants to control from the top but Torres keeps moving. Torres manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Teach manages to get himself to full guard.
Teach lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Torres! Torres tries to reverse the position but Teach maintains control. Torres is working hard here to advance position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Torres tries to hold on but Teach pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torres really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Torres takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Teach fails to take his opponent's back. Teach lands a big elbow. Torres throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Teach cracks Torres with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Torres is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Teach trying to control but Torres is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Torres flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Teach looking to control but Torres is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Torres can't escape the position.
Teach looking to control and managing it successfully. Teach with good strikes from the mount here! Torres in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. BOOM! Teach connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torres tries to lock up and control but Teach gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Teach wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Teach looks gassed! Teach prevents Torres from getting the reversal. Teach sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Teach working the ground and pound effectively.
Torres is looking to improve his position but Teach isn't that keen on the idea. Teach looking to control and managing it successfully. Torres taking shots to the head. Torres is wriggling around trying to escape.
Teach stands up from mount. Strange move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Teach gets caught flat footed, as Torres shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Torres decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Teach keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Torres throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Torres scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Torres tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Torres has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Torres tries for a kimura but Teach is defending well. Torres misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Torres wants to control but Teach is keeping him busy. Torres moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Emond Teach will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Emond Teach's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Torres shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Teach but Teach pushes him off and we're back to square one. Teach tries to bum rush Torres with a series of wild strikes but Torres uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Teach tries for a takedown but Torres circles away easily and Torres counters by moving into the clinch. Torres tries to land knees in the clinch but Teach avoids the damage to the body. Torres can't break the clinch.
Teach breaks the clinch.
Torres misses with a body kick. Teach is looking to clinch but Torres is avoiding it.
Torres shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Torres showed some decent athleticism there. Teach pushes Torres off looking to stand but Torres dives back in and keeps control.
Teach is breathing heavily. Teach wants to improve his position but Torres is controlling well.
Torres trying to control the action but Teach is working from the bottom. Torres is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Teach defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Teach blocking the ground and pound attempt from Torres. Torres decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Torres has Teach up against the cage in a clinch.
Torres tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Teach smiles and moves away.
Teach throws a low kick but Torres avoids it. Torres takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Emond Teach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Torres will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kid Torres. That's going to take a lot out of him. Torres closes the distance but Teach moves to the side and Teach counters with a three punch combo that has Torres backing up. Torres nods at Teach to acknowledge the strikes. Torres wants to clinch up but Teach keeps it at a distance. Teach lands with a straight right. Torres didn't see that one coming. Teach scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Torres manages to get to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Teach is looking to work some ground and pound but Torres has wrist control. Teach works over Torres with some ground and pound from guard.
Torres is rocked! Teach sitting in guard, not really doing much. Oh Torres is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Teach slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Torres seems to have got his legs back now. Torres wants to get back to his feet but Teach is dominant here and he's now got Torres's back! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Teach fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Teach lands a big shot there that rocks Torres but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Teach avoids the attempt from Torres to control. Teach with shots to the head and body - Torres looks very uncomfortable down there. Torres is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Torres is working to get back to half guard.
Torres tries to hold on but Teach pushes him away. Torres is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Torres really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Emond Teach showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Emond Teach's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Teach throws a leg kick but Torres sees it coming and moves out of range. Torres closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Torres lands in his opponent's guard. Teach throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
Teach is looking to stand up but Torres isn't so interested in that idea. Torres won't allow Teach to sweep him here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Torres can do anything to dispel that myth. Torres looking to pass the guard. Teach trying to keep a closed guard but Torres is proving a slippery customer.
Teach can't keep his opponent in guard - Torres advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Teach is defending against the submission attempts here by Torres.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Teach is refusing to be controlled, as Torres sits in half guard. Teach gets full guard. Torres takes a decent strike to the side of the head. Torres trying to control but Teach is working from the bottom. Teach is looking to stand back up but Torres counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Teach. Torres has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Torres tries to clinch there but Teach circles away.
Teach shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Teach working some strikes from top position. Torres keeping moving, preventing Teach from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Torres has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Teach can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Teach postures up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Teach accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Teach throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Torres works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Teach wants to stand but Torres has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Torres throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Torres scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Torres is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Teach is just riding it out for now. Torres eventually gives up the hold. Teach wants to control but Torres is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torres is looking to take a break and control but Teach is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Torres is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Torres prevents Teach from improving his position. Torres thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Torres is looking for a kimura here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Torres decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Torres sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Teach defending well though. Torres is keen to just control but Teach is a slippery customer. Kid Torres has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Torres wants to take a breather but Teach is having none of it. Teach gets full guard. Torres trying to control the position from guard on top but Teach is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Torres stopping the sweep attempt from Teach. Teach wants to stand up but Torres is controlling him.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Torres is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Teach looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Teach misses with a double jab.
Teach avoids the head kick by Torres.
And that's the end of the fight! Kid Torres showed his dominance in that final round. I think Teach has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
