Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between zeek grayson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fandango Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Fandango Nguyen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguyen misses with a jab, cross combination.

grayson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Nguyen's half guard.
grayson is looking to pass Nguyen's guard but actually Nguyen recovers to full guard.

grayson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Nguyen has managed to free his arm - good work.
grayson stalling away here and it's allowed Nguyen to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Nguyen wants to control but grayson is keeping busy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
grayson looks to land a strike but Nguyen avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
grayson wanted to stand there but Nguyen had control of the position.

grayson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nguyen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Nguyen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. grayson defends it easily.
grayson wants to control from the top but Nguyen keeps moving.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Nguyen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but grayson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

grayson tries to stand but Nguyen is controlling from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Nguyen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and grayson defends well.

A close round but Fandango Nguyen will probably get the nod.

Nguyen doesn't manage to clinch there - grayson circles away.
Nguyen swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Nguyen wants to clinch up but grayson keeps it at a distance.

Nguyen lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends grayson sprawling to the canvas. Nguyen follows him down, looking for the kill. Can grayson hang on?

It looks like zeek grayson has been cut.
Nguyen wants to stand but grayson has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Nguyen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
grayson wants to get back to his feet.

Nguyen is pressing down on grayson's thigh, looking to free his foot. grayson is holding on for now.
grayson is trying to control but Nguyen passes into side control!

Nguyen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nguyen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Nguyen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but grayson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
grayson wants to get back to his feet.

Nguyen trying to control the position but grayson is working away.

Nguyen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. grayson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Nguyen wants to stand but grayson is controlling his arm.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Fandango Nguyen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Nguyen moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
grayson closes the distance and clinches up with Nguyen, looking for a takedown. grayson pushes Nguyen against the cage but Nguyen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
grayson takes a swing at Nguyen's ribcage but misses.
grayson misses with a combination
and Nguyen counters with a left and a right that stings grayson.
Nguyen works over grayson's head and body with a nice combination.
Nguyen tries to clinch but grayson moves out of range.
grayson looks to land a left hand but Nguyen moved out of range nicely.
Nguyen tries to land a leg kick but grayson saw it coming and moves away.
Nguyen throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends grayson stumbling backwards into the cage! grayson bounces back off the cage towards Nguyen, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Nguyen lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Nguyen celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
