Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cake Motown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Dux! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cake Motown! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dux shoots in for a double leg but Motown sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Motown closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dux did well to prevent Motown getting side control. Motown is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Motown is working for a submission of some sort.
Motown is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dux defends it well. Motown wants to work for an arm triangle but Dux is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dux wants to get back to full guard. Dux on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dux tries to get out of the position. Dux is working hard here to advance position. Motown is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dux doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Motown. Motown looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dux tries to get to full guard but Motown has control of the leg. Dux slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Motown passes easily into side control. Nice work. Motown working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Motown looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Motown looks gassed! Motown tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dux manages to work his way to half guard, despite Motown's best efforts. Dux is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Motown pulls his head out easily. Motown working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Motown is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dux defends it well. Motown thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Dux manages to get to full guard.

Motown trying to control the position from guard on top but Dux is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dux is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Motown passes Dux's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Dux tries to roll over but Motown keeps him under control. Motown seems to be looking for submissions.
Dux wants to get back to full guard. Dux slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Motown throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Motown pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dux is keeping the position for now. Motown stopping the sweep attempt from Dux.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Motown trying to control but Dux is working from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Dux tries for a takedown but Motown circles away easily and Motown counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dux! Motown looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Dux is desperately trying to improve his position but Motown has a good base and remains in mount. Motown is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dux is surviving well by controlling Motown's body position as best he can. Dux keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Motown lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Motown working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Dux looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Motown! Submission of the night perhaps?
