Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Escro Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milford Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Milford Black was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maddox tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Black swivels and escapes.
Black motions for Maddox to come forward. Black throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Black working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Maddox doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Maddox manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Maddox stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Black looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Maddox has picked Black up and slammed him! Black can't keep hold of the triangle and Maddox manages to pass to side control!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Black holds on and takes a little breather.
