Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mui Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Proudstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Proudstar's choice of entrance music: "Run to the hills" by Iron Maiden. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mui Thai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Proudstar! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thai swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Proudstar lands a nice looking kick to the body. Thai takes a step back to recover. Proudstar feints and then cracks Thai's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Thai down. A swing and a miss from Thai. Proudstar ducks under a wild hook from Thai. Proudstar shoots in looking for a takedown. Thai tries to sprawl out of it but Proudstar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thai manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Thai throws a leg kick that is checked and Proudstar counters with a nice body kick. A nice leg kick lands there from Proudstar. Thai is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Thai takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Proudstar fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Thai. Proudstar thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Thai if he has to take too many more of those.
Proudstar throws a leg kick which misses Thai's front leg but catches the back leg as Thai tries to avoid it. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Proudstar.

Proudstar lands a body punch in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knees to the body from Proudstar.
Proudstar connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Mui Thai has been cut. Proudstar stalling in the clinch.
Proudstar works on Thai's body with a couple of short punches. Thai takes an elbow to the forehead. Proudstar lands a takedown into guard.
Proudstar passes Thai's left leg - he's now in half guard. Proudstar is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. This has been an exciting period of action! Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Proudstar in particular looking to stall. Proudstar is pressing down on Thai's thigh, looking to free his foot. Thai is holding on for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Proudstar is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Thai! Proudstar lands with some strikes.
Mui Thai's cut is getting worse.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mui Thai's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
