Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Lashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Hazzard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lashley comes to the cage accompanied by Game- Big Dreams. Hazzard has chosen Hell's Bells as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamal Lashley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Hazzard! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lashley leaves Hazzard with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lashley tries for a takedown but Hazzard sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Lashley circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lashley feints and as Hazzard raises his hands in defense, Lashley changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Hazzard is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Lashley working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hazzard's head. Lashley being controlled here momentarily. Hazzard is looking to stand up but Lashley isn't so interested in that idea. Lashley postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hazzard wants to stand up but Lashley is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lashley looking to sit in guard and control but Hazzard gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hazzard trying to stand up but can't free himself from Lashley's guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lashley fails with a takedown attempt. Hazzard lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Jamal Lashley has been cut. Hazzard feints and as Lashley raises his hands in defense, Hazzard changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Hazzard wants to stand but Lashley has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Lashley pulls Hazzard in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hazzard decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lashley, up you get! Hazzard stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hazzard wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jamal Lashley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lashley with a poor takedown and Hazzard counters by clinching up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hazzard taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Hazzard tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Lashley letting Hazzard take a breather here. Lashley tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lashley drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lashley is trying to force a seperation but Hazzard has the dominant position. Lashley takes a knee to the side of the body. Hazzard manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Hazzard is trying to keep Lashley in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hazzard keeping moving, preventing Lashley from controlling successfully.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Lashley drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hazzard looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hazzard looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hazzard! Lashley is breathing heavily. Hazzard stands up and beckons Lashley to his feet. Lashley swats away the attempt to clinch by Hazzard. Hazzard throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Hazzard drives through and clinches with Lashley against the cage.

Hazzard gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Hazzard decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lashley, up you get!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hazzard misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lashley has his takedown stuffed and Hazzard counters by clinching up. Lashley takes a knee to the side of the body. Hazzard tries a knee to the head but Lashley blocks it.
Knees in the clinch landing for Hazzard.
Hazzard will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lashley up against the cage. Hazzard gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Lashley looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hazzard would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hazzard trying to control but Lashley is working from the bottom. Hazzard wants to stand but Lashley is controlling his posture from full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Hazzard dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jamal Lashley's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Lashley shoots for a takedown but Hazzard saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hazzard doesn't manage to clinch there - Lashley circles away.
Lashley gets a clinch. Lashley takes an elbow to the forehead. Hazzard lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Hazzard ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hazzard no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Lashley drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hazzard manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lashley has Hazzard in his guard. Hazzard wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Lashley's closed guard. He's half up but Lashley has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Lashley pivots and extends the arm, Hazzard falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Lashley! Well done that man!
