Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Folami Zuberi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cornelius Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zuberi comes to the cage accompanied by Mickey Factz - Rocker. Folami Zuberi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Folami Zuberi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cornelius Jacobs! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zuberi shoots in and bounces Jacobs off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Zuberi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Zuberi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Zuberi working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jacobs is pulling down on Zuberi's head. It's preventing any offense from Zuberi, at least for the moment. Zuberi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jacobs is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zuberi postures up in Jacobs's guard and throws a big left but Jacobs blocks it. Jacobs being controlled here, momentarily.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jacobs wants to clinch up but Zuberi keeps it at a distance. Jacobs steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zuberi. Zuberi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jacobs moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jacobs fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jacobs tries to close the distance and clinch but Zuberi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jacobs with a poor takedown and Zuberi counters with a nice body kick. Zuberi connects with the punch. A head kick misses from Jacobs. Zuberi throws a right and a left that both miss. Jacobs slips under a jab from Zuberi. Zuberi looks to land a combination but Jacobs avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jacobs looks for a takedown but Zuberi sprawls well. Folami Zuberi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cornelius Jacobs. Jacobs ducks under a wild hook from Zuberi. Jacobs clinches up with Zuberi and pushes him back against the cage. Zuberi avoids the elbow strike from Jacobs, against the cage.
Zuberi wants the takedown. Jacobs is fighting it off but Zuberi persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Jacobs's guard against the cage. Zuberi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Jacobs pulls Zuberi in close to prevent any damage. Jacobs keeping full guard, as Zuberi tries to pass. Zuberi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jacobs is controlling Zuberi's posture. Zuberi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jacobs is keeping the position for now. Jacobs avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Zuberi wants to pass the guard but Jacobs is keeping the position. Zuberi looking to sit in guard and control but Jacobs gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Folami Zuberi dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Jacobs doesn't manage to clinch there - Zuberi circles away.
A telegraphed right hand from Zuberi misses the target. The fight stays on the outside here - Jacobs looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jacobs is looking to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jacobs blocks a head kick by Zuberi.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jacobs showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Zuberi.
Zuberi finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Zuberi throws a series of punches but Jacobs moves out of range. Jacobs wants to clinch. Jacobs displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Zuberi throws out the jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jacobs keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Folami Zuberi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jacobs wants to clinch and Zuberi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jacobs tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zuberi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jacobs somewhat. Zuberi blocks the body kick.
Zuberi throws a looping overhand right but Jacobs ducks down to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jacobs showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Zuberi.
A lazy body kick from Zuberi and Jacobs counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jacobs. Jacobs works a leg free and moves into half guard. Jacobs is looking to take a break and control but Zuberi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Zuberi looking for submissions from an awkward position here. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Zuberi gets full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zuberi throws his legs up looking for a submission but Jacobs uses it to pass to side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jacobs wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Zuberi, who protects the arm well. Zuberi tries to buck Jacobs off but Jacobs is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cornelius Jacobs showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Jacobs fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jacobs steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zuberi. Zuberi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jacobs gets the takedown into side control. Jacobs is trying to get an arm triangle but Zuberi is defending well. Jacobs wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zuberi keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zuberi is trying to control Jacobs's posture but Jacobs avoids it. Jacobs trying to control the action but Zuberi is working from the bottom. Jacobs thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Zuberi is looking to reverse the position. Jacobs wants to control for a moment but Zuberi uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Zuberi keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jacobs content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Jacobs's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Zuberi is trying to stand.
Jacobs performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Cornelius Jacobs comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jacobs has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
