The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aeger fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hoss looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Aeger throws a hook but Hoss blocks it.
Aeger bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like JP Hoss has been cut.
Aeger lands with a straight right. Hoss didn't see that one coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Aeger misses with a hook.
Hoss fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Aeger misses with an uppercut.
Hoss tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Aeger swivels and escapes.
Aeger drops Hoss with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Hoss! Aeger dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
