Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gahn Jah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shao Khan!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jah fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Khan slaps away a takedown attempt from Jah, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jah is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Khan.
Khan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jah stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jah missing with a left hand there. Khan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Khan lands a left and a right that send Jah crashing to the mat, dazed. Khan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Jah is rocked!
It looks like Gahn Jah has been cut.
Jah is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jah leaves his chin hanging out and Khan seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Jah crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shao Khan!
