PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Clayton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tye Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lights Out kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clayton shoots in for a takedown but Morgan shows good takedown defense.
Clayton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Clayton slips a jab and a cross from Morgan.
Clayton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Clayton fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Clayton shoots in for a double leg but Morgan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Morgan feints and then cracks Clayton's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Clayton down.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Tommy Clayton will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Clayton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
