Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timothy Mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Doughty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcgee comes to the cage accompanied by McGee. Timothy Mcgee has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Timothy Mcgee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Drew Doughty! The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doughty throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Doughty leaves Mcgee with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Doughty pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Doughty throws a series of punches but Mcgee avoids them all with ease. Mcgee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Nice sprawl there from Doughty as Mcgee shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timothy Mcgee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mcgee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Doughty pinned against the cage. Doughty gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Doughty misses with a jab, cross combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doughty works over Mcgee's head and body with a nice combination. Doughty goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Doughty misses with a few strikes there.
Mcgee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Doughty looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doughty is looking to reverse the position. Mcgee working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Mcgee looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Doughty managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Mcgee.
Mcgee trying to control the action but Doughty is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mcgee postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Mcgee is working to tighten is grip on Doughty's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Doughty has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Mcgee is really squeezing tight and eventually Doughty passes out! Mcgee breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Timothy Mcgee!
