Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Erickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Erickson's choice of entrance music: Of Wolf And Man - Metallica. On his way into the cage it seems that Bruce Lee has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bruce Lee seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erickson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lee circles away.

Erickson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lee tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Lee has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Erickson uses from the top position.

Erickson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lee is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Erickson is desperately trying to improve his position but Lee has a good base and remains in mount.

Lee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lee lands a shot to the body.
You can see the frustration on Erickson's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
What can Erickson do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Lee is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Erickson knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Erickson for a finish.
