Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bai Run (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Yves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yves scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Yves is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Run will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Run is trying to get back to his feet. Run is not content to let Yves control the position. Run is looking for a sweep. Run struggling a bit here. Run is letting Yves control him for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Run is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Yves asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Run tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Yves gets the takedown into side control. Yves decides to stand back up. Yves looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Run bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Yves's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Run trying to control but Yves is working from the bottom. Run is breathing heavily. Run trying to stand up but can't free himself from Yves's guard. Yves is looking to stand up but Run isn't so interested in that idea. Run wants to control from the top but Yves keeps moving. Run drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Run jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Yves has a closed guard, preventing Run from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yves managing to control the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Yves changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Run looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Yves landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Run gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Yves sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Run bucks Yves off and manages to get back to his feet! Yves shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Run but Run pushes him off and we're back to square one. Run shoots and misses and Yves decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Run's guard. Run wants to stand but Yves is controlling the position. Yves controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Yves looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Yves dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Run shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yves but Yves pushes him off and we're back to square one. A chopping leg kick lands by Run. Run misses with a few strikes there.
Yves keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Yves drives through with a takedown into guard. Yves showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Yves wants to get up but he can't break Run's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Run looking to hit a scissor sweep but Yves is one step ahead there. Yves is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Yves trying to control the position from guard on top but Run is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Yves is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Yves trying to control the position from guard on top but Run is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Run manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Yves manages to get himself to full guard.
Yves is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Run is controlling him. Run controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Yves is pulling down on Run's head to control his posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Run trying to control but Yves is working from the bottom. Run scoring with punches to the head and body. Run stands up from guard. Let's bang! Yves drives through with a takedown into guard. Bob Yves has got the better of the ground game so far. Yves wanted to stand there but Run had control of the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yves connects with a couple of short punches. Run is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Yves is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yves pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Run is keeping the position for now. Yves is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Run trying to keep a closed guard but Yves is proving a slippery customer.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Yves showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Yves will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Yves tries to close the distance and clinch up but Run swats him away and circles back towards the center. Yves tries to clinch but Run moves out of range. Run displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Run fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Yves avoids it really well and circles away. Yves bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Run wants to get back to his feet but Yves drags him back down. Yves is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Run has escaped the position, nice work there. Yves looking to control but instead Run has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yves keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Yves seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Run does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Run has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Yves is working away from the top position though. Yves wants to free his trapped foot but Run is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Yves seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Run does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

A lull in the action here. Yves throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Run works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Yves tries to stand and escape but Run is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Run gets full guard. Run throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Run wants to stand and escape but Yves is having none of it. Bai Run has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Run looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Yves puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Bob Yves comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Yves winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
