Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeff Juta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aki Sirkesalo! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sirkesalo lands a slapping body shot.
Sirkesalo throws a series of punches but Juta avoids them all with ease. Sirkesalo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Juta keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Juta on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Sirkesalo throws a right hand that Juta ducks under and follows up with a left that Juta also avoids with ease. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Sirkesalo. Sirkesalo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Sirkesalo swinging wilding here.

Sirkesalo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Juta dodges the punch combination from Sirkesalo.
Sirkesalo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Juta changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sirkesalo tries to avoid it but Juta manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sirkesalo to the ground. Sirkesalo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Juta shoots in for a takedown but Sirkesalo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Juta. That's going to take a lot out of him. A combination from Sirkesalo does no damage. Juta closes the distance and clinches up with Sirkesalo, looking for a takedown. Juta pushes Sirkesalo against the cage but Sirkesalo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Juta shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sirkesalo as he avoids it easily. Sirkesalo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sirkesalo.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck for Juta with that takedown attempt. Sirkesalo lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Sirkesalo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Juta on the side of the head. Sirkesalo connects with a body shot. Sirkesalo lands a slapping body shot.
Sirkesalo lands with a nice combination. Juta backs away looking to recover. Sirkesalo misses with the combination.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Juta. Juta is breathing heavily. A jab from Sirkesalo finds it's way through Juta's defenses. Nice cross by Sirkesalo. Horrible takedown by Juta or perhaps it was just good defense by Sirkesalo which made him look bad. Sirkesalo lands a lovely overhand right. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Juta. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Juta shoots in for a takedown but Sirkesalo shows good takedown defense. A left lands for Sirkesalo.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sirkesalo throws a nice looking combination but Juta bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sirkesalo closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Juta is rocked! Sirkesalo moves into range and connects with a jab. Oh Juta is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Juta walks into a left hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sirkesalo lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Juta falls backwards - clearly groggy! Sirkesalo dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aki Sirkesalo!
