Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Earl Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sloan Erak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanders comes to the cage accompanied by LL Cool J. Sloan Erak has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Earl Sanders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sloan Erak!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanders closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Erak makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Erak.
Sanders looking to pass the guard.

Erak working for a triangle but Sanders defends it easily.
Sanders is looking to stand up but Erak won't let him.
Sanders preventing the sweep.
Erak throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Erak wants to sweep here but Sanders controlling him for the moment.
Sanders wants to pass the guard but Erak is keeping the position.

Sanders decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Erak on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Sanders throws a hook but Erak avoids it easily.
Sanders throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Sanders's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Sanders duly obliges.
Sanders shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Erak as he jumps to the side.
Sanders has a takedown stuffed.
Sanders tries a low kick but Erak avoids it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Erak crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sanders - the referee stops the clock and Erak gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sanders. Erak manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Erak breaks the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Sanders as Erak shoots in.
Erak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Horrible takedown by Erak or perhaps it was just good defense by Sanders which made him look bad.
Earl Sanders has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sloan Erak.
Erak takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Erak fails with a takedown attempt.
Erak looks gassed!
Erak circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sanders lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Sanders has Erak up against the cage in a clinch.
Sanders tries to break the clinch but Erak is controlling the position.
Sanders has had enough of the clinch but Erak keeps him there for the moment.
Sanders wants to stall.
Sanders stalling against the cage.

Erak tries to pull guard but Sanders holds him up against the cage and eventually Erak drops back down to his feet.

Sanders jumps into guard, dragging Erak to the mat.
Erak controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Erak pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sanders is keeping the position for now.
Sanders is trying to control the position but Erak postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sanders working for submissions but it's allowed Erak to get to half guard.
Erak is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Erak not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Erak is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Sanders slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Sanders is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Sanders is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Earl Sanders dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Erak on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sanders. Sanders obviously looking to wear him down.
Sanders throws a one two combo.
Sanders tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Erak paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Erak keeps the fight on the outside.
No joy there for Sanders, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Sanders drives through and clinches with Erak against the cage.
Sanders is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Sanders wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Erak wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sanders has him pressed against the cage.
Sanders wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Sanders breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Erak avoids the head kick by Sanders.
Erak circles away from the clinch attempt.
Erak tries to clinch there but Sanders circles away.
Erak throws out a leg kick but Sanders moves out of range and Erak only half commits.
Sanders is looking to slow Erak down with leg kicks.
Erak gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Sanders to counter with a crisp jab.
Sanders sizes up Erak with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Erak is breathing heavily.

Sanders is looking to clinch.
Erak circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sanders fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sanders tries to bum rush Erak with a series of wild strikes but Erak uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A slapping leg kick lands for Sanders.
Sanders connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Earl Sanders is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Erak fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sanders scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Sanders scores with a head kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Sanders.
Sanders scores with a jab.
Erak closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sanders circles away.
Earl Sanders has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sloan Erak.

Sanders shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Erak works his way to full guard. Good work.
Erak manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sanders manages to get himself to full guard.

Sanders isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Erak stacks Sanders on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Erak!

Erak moves into full mount!
Sanders is trying to escape the mount.
Erak thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Erak is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sanders can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Erak controlling the position easily from mount.
Sanders flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Sanders is wriggling around trying to escape.

Erak looking to secure an arm triangle but Sanders defends it well.
Erak throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Sanders because Erak loaded up on that one.
Erak trying to control but Sanders is having none of it.
Sanders is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Erak goes for an armbar but Sanders turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Sanders.

Erak working for a triangle but Sanders defends it easily.
Sanders tries to stand but Erak is controlling from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Earl Sanders will probably get the nod.
That's time! Sanders's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Erak tries a head kick but it misses.
Sanders fails to land with a series of punches.
Sanders stuffs the takedown attempt from Erak. Erak gets slowly back to his feet.
Sanders lands a head kick!
Erak takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Sanders has managed to clinch.
Erak tries to land knees in the clinch but Sanders avoids the damage to the body.

Sanders drags the fight down to the ground.

Sanders has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Erak doesn't defend quickly enough and Sanders has managed to lock this one up! Can Erak escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Sanders on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Earl Sanders!
