Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Koufax Pierce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vince Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a takedown attempt - Pierce sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The fight stays on the outside here - Pierce looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Koufax Pierce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round but I would say that Koufax Pierce will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Pierce knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jones throws some wild stikes that Pierce manages to avoid easily.
Pierce is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Jones locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Pierce is forced to tap!
