Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ujio Katsumoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Katsumoto has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Ujio Katsumoto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ujio Katsumoto! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker wants to clinch up but Katsumoto keeps it at a distance. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Parker digs a good hook to Katsumoto's body.
Katsumoto looks gassed! Katsumoto takes a body punch but keeps moving. Parker scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Ujio Katsumoto has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Parker turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Parker pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Parker throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Katsumoto. A head kick misses from Parker. Parker throws a head kick but Katsumoto moves out of range.
Katsumoto moves out of range as Parker strikes. Katsumoto defending well as Parker loads up on a big left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parker is looking to land body kicks. Parker throws a sloppy head kick and Katsumoto moves out of range easily. Parker misses with a head kick.
Parker's corner calls for a 1-2. Parker obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Katsumoto circles away from the clinch attempt.
Katsumoto leaves Parker with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ujio Katsumoto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Katsumoto throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Katsumoto ducks under a wild hook from Parker. A telegraphed right hand from Parker misses the target. Parker cracks Katsumoto with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker tries a head kick but it misses.
Parker misses with a body kick. Parker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A jab from Parker misses. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Parker is looking to clinch. Katsumoto ducks under a wild hook from Parker. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Katsumoto counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Katsumoto uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Parker. Peter Parker is winning the standup battle so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parker tries to clinch but Katsumoto moves out of range. Parker throws a head kick that Katsumoto semi-blocks.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Parker throws a hook but Katsumoto blocks it. Ujio Katsumoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parker throws and low kick but Katsumoto moves out of range easily. Parker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Parker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Katsumoto makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Katsumoto is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Parker rather than just go for the knockout. A head kick misses from Parker.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A head kick misses from Parker. A head kick from Parker lands but Katsumoto takes it in his stride. Parker throws a shot from downtown. Katsumoto moves away and avoids it. Katsumoto throws a body punch but Parker moves out of range. Parker throws a left and a right that both miss
and Katsumoto counters with a nice body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Parker dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Ujio Katsumoto's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
