The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bojanski rushes Machine and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bojanski with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Alberta Wrecking Machine has been cut.
Bojanski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Machine looks to clinch
and Bojanski counters with a crisp one two that drops Machine! Bojanski thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Machine to his feet! Machine is in big trouble!
Machine is rocked!
Machine clinches up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bojanski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mirko Bojanski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Machine tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Bojanski counters by clinching up.
Machine tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bojanski just stands there and leans against the cage.

Machine tries to clinch but Bojanski is having none of it.
Machine shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bojanski counters by moving into the clinch.

Machine is breathing heavily.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Machine. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Bojanski gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Machine is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bojanski is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Machine to the mat. Machine regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Bojanski is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Machine is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Machine wants to stand and escape but Bojanski is having none of it.

Bojanski lands a big head kick that sends Machine tumbling to the mat! Bojanski takes a step backwards and waves Machine back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Bojanski darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Oh Machine is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Bojanski wants to get back to his feet.
Machine seems to have got his legs back now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Machine is doing well to control the position and prevent Bojanski from advancing to side control.
Machine is trying to control but can't.
Machine tries to kick Bojanski off but Bojanski keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Machine is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bojanski wants to stand but Machine has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jeez, Alberta Wrecking Machine's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alberta Wrecking Machine's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
