Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Blunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Otto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blunt comes to the cage accompanied by Danzig - Mother. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Otto avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Blunt scores with a one two! Otto had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Blunt shoots in for a takedown but Otto shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Otto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

It looks like Bob Blunt has been cut. Blunt tries to bum rush Otto with a series of wild strikes but Otto uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Blunt has closed the distance and engaged Otto in a clinch.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Blunt walks away with a smile on his face. Otto gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bob Blunt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Otto. Otto throws a head kick that Blunt semi-blocks.

A nice leg kick lands there from Otto. Otto fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Blunt looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Otto lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Otto connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Otto looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Blunt blocks a head kick by Otto.
Otto lands a nice leg kick that just misses Blunt's sensitive parts. Blunt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Otto. Otto looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Blunt throws a lazy head kick and Otto counters with an outside leg kick.
Jay Otto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Otto drops Blunt with a beautiful combination! Blunt stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Otto is looking for the KO!
Blunt is rocked! Otto closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Blunt out cold! Blunt corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
