Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randy Grace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Che Pierce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pierce is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ride Wid Us-Akala. Randy Grace has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Pierce as Grace shoots in.
Grace tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pierce swivels and escapes.
Grace will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Randy Grace. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pierce jabs Grace right on the nose. Grace blinks but takes it well.
The fight stays on the outside here - Grace looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pierce stuffs the takedown attempt from Grace. Grace gets slowly back to his feet.
Pierce lands a jab to Grace's midsection.
Pierce ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Grace is breathing heavily.
Pierce throws a nice looking combination but Grace bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pierce waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Grace. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Grace to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Randy Grace has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Pierce drops back, looking for a kneebar! Grace looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Grace looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Grace!

Grace works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Pierce is looking to regain half guard here but Grace keeps moving and retains side control.

Pierce wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Grace seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Pierce is tapping! Wow, great finish!
