Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gedo Sake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and roberto randall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gedo Sake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, roberto randall! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.

randall shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than randall was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! randall prevents Sake from getting the reversal.
randall swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Sake is now in randall's guard. A big mistake from randall there, giving up the dominant position! Sake wants to pass the guard but randall is keeping the position.
randall looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Sake trying to control but randall is working from the bottom.

Sake stands up out of the half guard. Sake stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sake wants it to stay on the feet.
randall closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sake is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sake is controlling randall's trapped leg to prevent randall from advancing to side control. randall prevents Sake from standing back up.

Sake taking some punishment here, with randall in his half guard. randall throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. randall prevents Sake from improving his position.
randall is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

randall seems to be looking for submissions.
Sake tries to roll over but randall keeps him under control.

Sake is pressing down on randall's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Sake is trying to keep randall in close.
randall drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sake looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sake looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sake! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sake controlling from side mount.

You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. randall is not content to let Sake control the position. Sake postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
roberto randall dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Sake drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sake decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on randall, up you get! Sake shoots in but no luck this time. Sake tries to clinch but randall is having none of it. randall with a lazy takedown attempt
and Sake counters with a nice double leg into guard. Sake trying to control but randall is working from the bottom. Sake stops randall from standing up.

Sake drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sake jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
randall is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sake wants to control from the top but randall keeps moving. Sake trying to stand up but can't free himself from randall's guard.

Sake throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as randall works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sake controls from within his opponent's guard.

and Sake counters with a shoot takedown. randall fights it but they end up in guard. Sake wants to pass the guard but randall is keeping the position.
randall is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
randall can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sake controls the pace.
randall is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sake is aware though and is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gedo Sake dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Sake clinches up against the cage. randall changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sake fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Sake shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. randall manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Sake trying to control the position from guard on top but randall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
randall working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sake doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sake manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sake trying to control but randall is working from the bottom.

Sake trying to control the position but randall is working away. Sake in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Sake wants to control but randall is keeping him busy. Sake is putting a hurting on randall here, landing some big shots from side control.
Sake stands up and beckons randall to his feet.

Sake jumps guard and drags randall to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Sake has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes randall off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. randall fails with the takedown and Sake counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
randall fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sake sprawls well initially but randall persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sake lands with a few short shots to the body. Sake wants to get back to his feet. Sake tries to roll over but randall keeps him under control.
randall is working for a kimura but Sake is defending it quite comfortably.

Sake actively working from the bottom here. randall sitting and controlling from the half guard. Sake knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for randall on the ground. randall lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Sake is trying to maintain the position but randall is very close to passing his half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Gedo Sake showed his dominance in that final round. Well Sake has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
