Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Snaps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stajp Drvis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stajp Drvis is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Snaps! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stajp Drvis! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Snaps. No joy for Drvis on that attempt. Drvis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Snaps is fending him off so far but Drvis persists. Nope, Snaps circles away and we're back to standing. The fighters circle momentarily. Drvis darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Snaps dodges the punch combination from Drvis.
Drvis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Drvis wants it to stay on the feet. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Drvis. Snaps throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Drvis was covering up waiting for the punch and Snaps finishes the takedown easily into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Snaps tries to free his leg and advance position but Drvis is retaining full guard. Snaps with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snaps is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Snaps throwing strikes but missing. Snaps stops Drvis from standing up. Snaps is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Drvis plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Snaps throws a lazy right hand but Drvis sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snaps tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Drvis swivels and escapes. Drvis throws a front kick that sends Snaps stumbling back into the cage. Snaps fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Snaps. That's going to take a lot out of him. Snaps is breathing heavily. Nice takedown defense from Drvis. No joy for Snaps on that attempt. Snaps shoots in for a double leg but Drvis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Snaps shoots in and drives through. Drvis sprawls well. Drvis throws a combination. Snaps tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drvis explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Drvis feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Snaps's calf. Drvis dives in and grabs Snaps's left leg, looking for a takedown. Snaps pushes down on Drvis's head and hops out. Snaps could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Drvis throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Snaps takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Drvis pushes Snaps away with a front kick. Drvis lands with a nice combination. Snaps backs away looking to recover. Drvis throws a head kick that half lands.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Drvis throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Snaps. Snaps circles away from the clinch attempt.
Drvis stuffs the takedown attempt from Snaps. Snaps gets slowly back to his feet. Snaps has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Drvis connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Drvis lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Drvis shoots in looking for a takedown. Snaps tries to sprawl out of it but Drvis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Snaps manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Drvis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Snaps gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Drvis counters with a nice uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stajp Drvis dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Left hook, right uppercut from Drvis. Drvis has a takedown stuffed. Drvis lands a jab-cross combination. Horrible takedown by Drvis or perhaps it was just good defense by Snaps which made him look bad. Nice takedown defense from Drvis. No joy for Snaps on that attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Drvis clinches with his opponent.

Bobby Snaps has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stajp Drvis. Drvis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Snaps walks away with a smile on his face. Drvis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drvis tries to clinch up but Snaps circles away and keeps his distance. Snaps has a takedown stuffed. Drvis shoots for a double leg takedown but Snaps sprawls well. He's pushed Drvis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Drvis is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Drvis lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Drvis closes the distance and lands a one-two. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Snaps. Drvis stuffs the takedown attempt from Snaps. Snaps gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drvis lands with a straight right. Snaps didn't see that one coming. Drvis throws a series of strikes that have Snaps backpedaling.
Drvis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Snaps swats him away and circles back towards the center. Drvis tries for a takedown but Snaps circles away easily and Snaps moves into the clinch. Drvis tries to break the clinch but Snaps is controlling the position. Snaps has Drvis pressed against the cage, preventing Drvis from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Snaps lands a body punch in the clinch. Drvis tries to circle away but Snaps has him pinned against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drvis is trying to force a seperation but Snaps has the dominant position. Drvis working hard to break the clinch. Snaps has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Drvis is trying to keep an underhook but Snaps manages to get the takedown into half guard. Still in half guard, Snaps seems content to control. Snaps prevents Drvis from standing back up.
Snaps looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Snaps wants to control but Drvis is keeping him busy. Drvis wants to get back to his feet. Snaps trying to control the action but Drvis is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drvis is trying to stand up here but Snaps is controlling him well.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Drvis swats away the attempt to clinch by Snaps. Drvis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Snaps sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Drvis feints and then cracks Snaps's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Snaps down. Snaps checks a low kick from Drvis. Drvis fails with the takedown and Snaps counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Drvis's guard now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Bobby Snaps will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Drvis with a lazy takedown attempt and Snaps counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Snaps throwing shots but Drvis is blocking nicely. Snaps slows the pace down in half guard. Snaps works his way into side control. Snaps working the ground and pound but Drvis is defending the strikes. Snaps controlling the position from side mount. The strikes coming from Snaps are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drvis stops Snaps from passing to mount. Snaps postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Snaps has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Snaps fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Drvis is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Snaps grinds an elbow into Drvis's temple. Snaps is staying tight to Drvis's torso, preventing him from escaping. Snaps is looking to take a break and control but Drvis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Drvis works over Snaps's head and body with a nice combination. Drvis goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Snaps fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Snaps misses with a hook to the body
and Drvis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Drvis misses with a takedown attempt and Snaps counters with a nice double leg into side control. Drvis won't be happy with that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snaps scoring with punches and elbows. Drvis is trying to get back to half guard. Snaps trying to control the position but Drvis is working away. Snaps looking to control but instead Drvis has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Drvis has one foot on Snaps's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Drvis lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Drvis.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Snaps takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Snaps drives through with a takedown into guard. Drvis keeping full guard, as Snaps tries to pass. Drvis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Snaps in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Snaps working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Snaps seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Snaps wants to pass the guard but Drvis is keeping the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Bobby Snaps showed his dominance in that final round. I think Snaps has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
