Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Koji Tanahasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ghenki Sudo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Ghenki Sudo enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sudo is on top in guard.
Sudo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Koji Tanahasi will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sudo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Sudo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sudo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Sudo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tanahasi, who protects the arm well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Sudo goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Tanahasi has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sudo but great work by Tanahasi.

Sudo looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Tanahasi is defending well. Sudo quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Tanahasi has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Sudo celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
