Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willie Garvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kelly might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Theme From Black Belt Jones. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Willie Garvin enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Willie Garvin!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly misses with a series of wild punches.
Garvin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kelly. That did some damage!
Kelly tries to clinch up but Garvin circles away and keeps his distance.
Garvin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Kelly tries to improve position but can't.
Garvin tries to score with some ground and pound. Kelly controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Garvin works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The strikes coming from Garvin are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Kelly wants to get back to his feet.
Garvin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kelly tries to escape but Garvin is in control.
Garvin throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Kelly works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garvin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Let's hope that Garvin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Willie Garvin just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Garvin swats away the attempt to clinch by Kelly.
Kelly tries to close the distance and clinch up but Garvin swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Garvin.
Garvin attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Kelly throws a sloppy head kick and Garvin moves out of range easily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Garvin.
Kelly is looking to clinch but Garvin is avoiding it.
A head kick misses from Kelly.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kelly checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Kelly throws a head kick but Garvin moves out of range.
Kelly lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Garvin circles away quickly and effectively.
Kelly fails to land with a series of punches.
Garvin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Garvin fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kelly is out of range.
Kelly takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Jim Kelly has been cut.

and Garvin counters with a nice leg kick.

Kelly takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kelly throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Garvin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kelly was covering up waiting for the punch and Garvin finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kelly chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Garvin can pounce on him.
Kelly takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Kelly closes the distance but Garvin moves to the side
and Garvin counters with a nice body kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kelly misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

No joy there for Kelly, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Garvin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Garvin is pushing down on Kelly's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kelly is fighting to maintain full guard but Garvin has managed to sneak the leg through.
Well, if Garvin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Willie Garvin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Garvin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kelly throws a lazy body kick
and Garvin counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Garvin scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Garvin throws a wild body kick that Kelly sees coming a mile off.
Kelly takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Garvin cracks the inside of Kelly's front leg.
Good leg kick by Garvin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

An inside leg kick lands from Garvin.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Garvin lands with a kick to the ribs.
Kelly is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kelly tries to clinch but Garvin moves away
and Garvin counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kelly's knee momentarily.
Kelly walks forward, straight into a front kick from Garvin.
Garvin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Garvin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kelly takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Kelly takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Garvin.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kelly takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Kelly gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Kelly is staying active underneath Garvin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Willie Garvin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Garvin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
