Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Richard Kuklinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Holtz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Kuklinski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christian Holtz! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kuklinski shoots for a double leg takedown but Holtz sprawls well. He's pushed Kuklinski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kuklinski is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Holtz. Holtz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Holtz stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Kuklinski to get to his feet. Holtz misses with a body shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kuklinski seems a little lost for a moment, as Holtz dominates the positioning. Kuklinski is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kuklinski looks to move to half guard but instead Holtz has passed into mount! Damn! Kuklinski is trying desperately to improve position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Holtz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holtz jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kuklinski manages to avoid the submission attempt. Holtz is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kuklinski will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The strikes coming from Holtz are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Holtz tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Kuklinski tries to improve position but can't. Kuklinski is working hard here to advance position. Holtz takes a little break here. Kuklinski wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kuklinski tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Holtz lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kuklinski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Kuklinski is breathing heavily. Holtz is looking to improve his position but Kuklinski isn't that keen on the idea. Holtz wants to hold on but Kuklinski pushes him away. Holtz wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Holtz is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Kuklinski off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Holtz is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Kuklinski gets his way!

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kuklinski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Holtz content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Kuklinski is pressing down on Holtz's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Holtz controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Holtz's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kuklinski has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Holtz down to the mat. Holtz avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Kuklinski with a poor takedown letting Holtz counter with a right hand. Kuklinski shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Holtz counters with a left and a right that stings Kuklinski. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Kuklinski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Holtz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Holtz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kuklinski. Holtz thuds his right hand into Kuklinski's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Holtz throws a shot to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Holtz instigates a clinch. Holtz's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holtz cracks Kuklinski with a nice body shot. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Holtz. Holtz gets control of Kuklinski's arms and successfully pulls guard. Holtz will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Kuklinski postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Holtz is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kuklinski, into his guard. Holtz stays in close to Kuklinski's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kuklinski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Holtz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Christian Holtz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
