Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clay Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cam Snyder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clay Faber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cam Snyder! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by Snyder as he connects with a hook. Snyder tries to clinch but Faber moves out of range. Snyder throws a series of punches but Faber moves out of range. Snyder rushes Faber and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Snyder lands a left hand.
Snyder is trying to break the clinch but Faber has him pressed against the cage. Snyder tries to score a body lock takedown but Faber shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Faber wants the takedown. Snyder is fighting it off but Faber persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Snyder's guard against the cage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Snyder can do anything to dispel that myth. Faber postures up and lands a big shot to Snyder's brow. Faber wants to control from the top but Snyder keeps moving. Faber is pushing down on Snyder's leg trying to pass to half guard. Snyder is fighting to maintain full guard but Faber has managed to sneak the leg through. Snyder keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Faber stops Snyder from getting back to his feet.
Snyder looks gassed! Faber winds up and cracks Snyder with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Faber missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Faber scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Faber thows a huge punch but Snyder dodges it nicely.
Snyder has hold of Faber's hands but Faber slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Faber throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Faber not landing any meaningful shots this time. Faber sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Snyder defending well though. Faber looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Snyder with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Faber throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Faber walks into a jab. Faber keeps the fight on the outside. Faber changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Snyder looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Faber working the ground and pound from side control. Snyder on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snyder defending against the ground and pound. Faber grinds an elbow into Snyder's temple. Sloppy strikes there by Faber. Snyder parries the strikes from Faber easily there. Faber is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Snyder to escape.
Faber landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Faber is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Snyder has escaped the position, nice work there. Faber throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Faber creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Faber working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Faber wants to control but Snyder is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faber prevents Snyder from escaping the position. Faber has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Faber really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Snyder stuffs the takedown. Snyder throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Faber was covering up waiting for the punch and Snyder finishes the takedown easily into guard. Faber is trying to keep Snyder in close.
Faber has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Faber pulls Snyder in close to his closed guard and prevents Snyder from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snyder postures up in Faber's guard and throws a big left but Faber blocks it. Faber has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Snyder off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Snyder scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Snyder looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Faber is avoiding damage well.
Snyder tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Snyder throwing shots but missing, from side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Snyder tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Faber sneaks back into half guard. Faber regains full guard. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clay Faber dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Faber shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Snyder is trying to defend but Faber finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Faber working Snyder over with strikes. Faber lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Faber is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Faber scoring with strikes to the body and head. Faber stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Snyder lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Snyder throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Faber avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Faber gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Snyder counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Faber shoots in looking for a takedown. Snyder tries to sprawl out of it but Faber keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Snyder manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Snyder closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Faber to the mat! Faber manages to get full guard. Faber trying to keep a closed guard but Snyder is proving a slippery customer.
Snyder is looking to stand up but Faber won't let him. Faber is pulling down on Snyder's head to control his posture. Faber is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Snyder defends well. Faber looking to hit a scissor sweep but Snyder is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snyder trying to stand up but can't free himself from Faber's guard. Snyder throws a strike but Faber rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Faber postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Faber with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snyder working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Faber. Faber tries to free his leg and advance position but Snyder is retaining full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A punch combination from Faber misses. Snyder displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Snyder tries for a takedown but Faber circles away easily and Faber counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Faber stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Snyder swivels though and keeps the full guard. Faber postures up in Snyder's guard and throws a big left but Snyder blocks it. Snyder keeping full guard, as Faber tries to pass. Faber with a flurry of punches that miss. Faber working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Snyder's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snyder wants to stand and escape but Faber is having none of it. Clay Faber overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Faber thows a big elbow that misses. Faber working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Snyder lands a head shot. Faber pushes Snyder up against the cage in a clinch. Snyder tries to circle away but Faber has him pinned against the cage. A right hand to the body from Snyder.
Snyder is trying to break the clinch but Faber is controlling him. Faber lands a nice uppercut. Snyder wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Faber jumps guard but Snyder stands there with Faber around his waist. Faber gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clay Faber. That's going to take a lot out of him. Snyder turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Snyder manages to end up in side control. Snyder tries to score with some ground and pound. Faber controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Snyder in side control, throwing shots but Faber defends. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clay Faber dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Snyder rushes Faber and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Faber drops down looking for an ankle pick but Snyder pulls his leg out and moves away.
Faber looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Snyder closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Snyder lands in his opponent's guard. Faber bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Snyder's guard. Faber has gone for a leg lock! Snyder slips out almost immediately though and dives into Faber's guard. Snyder must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Snyder throws a strike but Faber rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Faber pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Snyder is keeping the position for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Faber cracks Snyder with a solid left hand. Snyder wants to get back to his feet but Faber is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Faber content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Faber loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Snyder working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Faber. Faber keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Snyder's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Faber tries for a takedown but Snyder circles away easily and Faber takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clay Faber. That's going to take a lot out of him. Snyder tries to clinch but Faber is having none of it. Faber shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Snyder moves into the clinch. Snyder is trying to force a seperation but Faber has the dominant position. Snyder is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Snyder drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Faber wants a takedown but no success here.
Faber is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Snyder gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Faber has Snyder pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Snyder manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Snyder lands on the inside with an uppercut. Snyder throws a punch but it's blocked by Faber. Faber stops a takedown attempt from Snyder.
Faber gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Snyder.
Snyder tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snyder wants to break the clinch but can't.
Faber prevents Snyder from breaking the clinch. Faber has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Snyder uses from the top position. Faber working a defensive guard here.

Faber is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Snyder is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Faber manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Snyder manages to get himself to full guard.
Snyder keeping moving, preventing Faber from controlling successfully. Faber looking to pass the guard. Faber thows a big elbow that misses. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Faber's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Faber trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Clay Faber is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Faber scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Cam Snyder. I think Faber has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
