Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steven Graghen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tiger Woodz!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodz misses with a series of wild punches.
Woodz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
No luck for Woodz with that takedown attempt.
Woodz pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Graghen has Woodz up against the cage in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Graghen tightens his grip and picks Woodz up, before dumping him to the ground. Woodz manages to land in guard.
Graghen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Woodz's guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Graghen in particular looking to stall.
Graghen works his foot free and advances to mount.

Woodz bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Graghen scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Graghen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Woodz's guard.

Graghen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Woodz's guard.
Woodz is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Woodz has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Graghen is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Woodz.
