Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wasson dips to his left and cracks Alverez with an uppercut!
It looks like Eddie Alverez has been cut.
Alverez looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Wasson breaks from the clinch.
Wasson drops his shoulder and cracks Alverez with a huge uppercut! Alverez goes down! Can Wasson finish him?

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Wasson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Wasson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Wasson lands with a big left! Alverez is wobbled badly! Wasson comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Alverez to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
