Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Fricke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fricke comes to the cage accompanied by Drowning Pool - Bodies. Kerr has chosen Them Bones as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Fricke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Kerr! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fricke tries to bum rush Kerr with a series of wild strikes but Kerr uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Fricke throws a series of strikes that have Kerr backpedaling.
It looks like Mark Kerr has been cut. Fricke tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kerr paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fricke looks to land a combination but Kerr avoids it well. Fricke has closed the distance and engaged Kerr in a clinch.
Fricke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A combination from Fricke does no damage. Kerr has a takedown stuffed. Fricke feints and then cracks Kerr's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kerr down. Fricke darts in and out, connecting with a jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kerr fails with a takedown attempt. Fricke throws a right and a left that Kerr avoids nicely. No joy there for Kerr, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fricke misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kerr works over Fricke's head and body with a nice combination. Kerr shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kerr showed some decent athleticism there. Fricke makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerr walks into a jab. Fricke lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kerr backs up against the cage.
Kerr looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fricke scores with the left hand. Kerr knows he should have avoided that one.
That has opened up Mark Kerr's cut even more. A jab from Fricke does it's job there. Ryan Fricke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kerr loses concentration momentarily and Fricke pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Kerr crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Fricke finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ryan Fricke!
