Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fuji Yamasoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maia Bee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fuji Yamasoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Maia Bee! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yamasoto walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bee checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Yamasoto shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bee sprawls well. Bee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Yamasoto gets slowly back to his feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Yamasoto. Bee leaves Yamasoto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fuji Yamasoto. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yamasoto closes the distance and clinches up with Bee, looking for a takedown. Yamasoto pushes Bee against the ropes but Bee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Fuji Yamasoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yamasoto fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Yamasoto closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yamasoto is looking for a kimura but Bee is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Yamasoto to get the leverage. Yamasoto missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Yamasoto throwing shots but Bee is blocking nicely. Bee trying to control but Yamasoto postures up.
Yamasoto not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Yamasoto is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Yamasoto is working for a submission of some sort.
Yamasoto not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Yamasoto seems to be looking for submissions.
Bee wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yamasoto is thwarting Bee's attempts to control the position. Yamasoto seems to be working for a kimura but Bee defends the submission attempt. Bee wants to get back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bee wants it to stay on the feet. Maia Bee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bee lands a nice looking body kick. Yamasoto shoots in looking for a takedown. Bee tries to sprawl out of it but Yamasoto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Bee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Yamasoto swings away with a leg kick that misses. Bee lands with a kick to the ribs.
Yamasoto has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Bee. Bee scores with a kick to the midsection. Bee lands with a slapping head kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maia Bee dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Yamasoto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bee's waist but Bee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yamasoto off to one side. Yamasoto tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Bee buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Yamasoto takes a jab right on the kisser.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A nice inside leg kick there by Bee. That's going to slow Yamasoto down. Bee lands a nice leg kick that just misses Yamasoto's sensitive parts. Maia Bee seems to be getting the better of the standup. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bee throws a quick inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bee connects with a solid leg kick. Bee throws a front kick that sends Yamasoto stumbling back into the ropes. Bee lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Yamasoto is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Bee scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Yamasoto chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bee can pounce on him.

A good leg kick by Bee. Bee thumps Yamasoto with a low kick. Yamasoto takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bee fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bee lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Bee fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Yamasoto. Nice body kick from Bee. Bee throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Whack! Bee lands a heavy head kick that drops Yamasoto. The ref tackles Bee to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Yamasoto was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Maia Bee!
