The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt shoots in but Hammer avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Hunt shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hammer manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Hammer is striking but Hunt is not phased and passes to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammer tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Hunt trying to mount his opponent but Hammer defends it.

Hammer throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Hunt is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Hammer!

Hunt has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hammer has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Hunt doesn't have the hooks in and Hammer manages to turn into his guard.
Hunt is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hunt prevents Hammer from getting the reversal.

Hunt stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Hunt shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hammer is trying to defend but Hunt finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hunt works his foot free and advances to mount.

Hunt is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Hammer is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Hammer flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Hunt anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Hammer and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Hunt slips an arm under Hammer chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Hunt has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Hunt is squeezing on Hammer like an anaconda would it's prey. Hammer fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
