Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phil In (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Bumin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Phil In! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Al Bumin! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! In throws a hook but Bumin avoids it easily. Bumin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. In shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bumin but Bumin pushes him off and we're back to square one. In shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bumin defends it nicely. In misses with a series of wild punches.
Bumin takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. In throws a shot from downtown. Bumin moves away and avoids it. In connects with the punch. A swing and a miss from In.
That's one minute gone in the round. In swings for the body but Bumin moves out of range.
In throws a body punch but Bumin moves out of range. In looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Phil In seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. In ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bumin moves away. In fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bumin manages to avoid it. In looks to land a combination but Bumin avoids it well. Bumin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches In napping and manages to drive through into side control! In pushes Bumin away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bumin gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. In is positioning himself to get back to half guard. In is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bumin is controlling him well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. In can't do much from the bottom here. In is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Bumin wants to control but In is keeping him busy. In is trying to improve his position. In tries to escape but Bumin is in control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bumin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bumin trying to control the position from guard on top but In is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bumin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. In wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! In prevents Bumin from moving into mount. In struggling a bit here. In is looking for a sweep. In is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Bumin is one step ahead and moves to full mount! In tries to hold on but Bumin postures up. Bumin manages to capitalize on a mistake by In to take his back! In is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

That was a close round but I would say that Phil In will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

In is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bumin off and has taken his back! In looking for the choke but no joy. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. In not allowing Bumin to control his hands.

Bumin is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. In has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Bumin escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Bumin! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Al Bumin will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

In tries to improve his position but instead Bumin has taken his back! Bumin wants to control but In is keeping busy. Bumin gets his hands free as In looks to control. You can see the frustration on In's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Nice work. Bumin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with In. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bumin trying to control the position from guard on top but In is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! Al Bumin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Bumin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
