Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between mr pearl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pebble Braithweight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). pearl comes into the arena with yes blaring out of the sound system. Braithweight has chosen 300 violin as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, mr pearl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Pebble Braithweight!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braithweight slips a jab from pearl.
pearl misses with a wild body shot.
pearl missing with a left hand there. Braithweight was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
No luck with that takedown attempt from pearl.
pearl scores with a nice right hand.
Braithweight tries to clinch there but pearl circles away.
pearl darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
pearl lands the left hand.
pearl throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
pearl throws a hook to the side of Braithweight's head but Braithweight sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
pearl is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

pearl shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

pearl cracks Braithweight with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, pearl cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

pearl trying to mount his opponent but Braithweight defends it.
Braithweight is trying to control but can't.
pearl is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
pearl has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

pearl thows a huge punch but Braithweight dodges it nicely.
pearl tries to pass the half guard into mount. Braithweight knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Braithweight wants to control but pearl is keeping busy.

Braithweight has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. pearl is working away from the top position though.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
pearl cracks Braithweight with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Braithweight avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts pearl, as that shot connected.

pearl drops Braithweight with a beautiful combination! Braithweight stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - pearl is looking for the KO!

Braithweight wants to clinch up but pearl keeps it at a distance.
Braithweight seems to have recovered his senses.
Oh, that's a big right hand from pearl and Braithweight goes tumbling to the canvas! pearl follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

pearl is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Braithweight takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Braithweight shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in pearl's guard.

pearl connects with a nice looking jab.
pearl connects with a nice cross there... Braithweight is looking wobbly and pearl recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Braithweight to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - pearl jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
