Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gene Apedalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Prodigy-Out Of Space. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyrone Jenkins! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Apedalo shoots in but no luck this time. Apedalo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jenkins to the mat! Jenkins manages to get full guard. Apedalo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jenkins looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jenkins looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jenkins! Apedalo manages to get back to half guard. Apedalo wants to improve his position but Jenkins is controlling well.
Ground and pound from Jenkins. Jenkins missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Apedalo has his hands clasped together around Jenkins's back. He's all about the action. Apedalo trying to hold on to Jenkins's head to control him but Jenkins postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Apedalo looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Apedalo is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Apedalo is looking to improve his position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jenkins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jenkins wants it to stay on the feet. Apedalo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gene Apedalo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Apedalo is breathing heavily. Jenkins connects with the punch. Apedalo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jenkins is fending him off so far but Apedalo persists. Nope, Jenkins circles away and we're back to standing. Apedalo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jenkins circles away. Jenkins drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Apedalo tries to buck Jenkins off but Jenkins is having none of it. Jenkins decides to stand back up. Apedalo misses with a takedown attempt and Jenkins counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Jenkins wants to pass the guard but Apedalo is defending well. Apedalo is looking for a sweep. Jenkins is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jenkins wants to get back to his feet.
Apedalo controlling the position well. Jenkins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Apedalo keeps working. Apedalo moves into full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Apedalo is trying to keep Jenkins in close.
Apedalo pushes a forearm under Jenkins's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jenkins is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
