The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sanchez.

It looks like Dawkins Sanchez has been cut.
Omega slaps away a takedown attempt from Sanchez, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sanchez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Omega.
Sanchez thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sanchez shoots in looking for a takedown. Omega tries to sprawl out of it but Sanchez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Omega manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Thor Omega has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dawkins Sanchez.
Sanchez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Omega but Omega pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Omega connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sanchez. Sanchez circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sanchez closes the distance and clinches up with Omega, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes Omega against the cage but Omega circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
