Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Hearty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for William Hearty has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William Hearty! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank mir! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hearty thows a body shot but no joy. mir uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hearty. mir shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Hearty looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. mir trying to control the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hearty wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. mir prevents Hearty from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank mir dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A combination from Hearty does no damage. Hearty shoots and misses and mir counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. mir slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hearty is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst mir is controlling him. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. mir controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hearty looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but mir puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank mir showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Hearty throws a left and a right that both miss
and mir counters with a single leg into guard. Hearty didn't expect that. mir is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. mir's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hearty manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hearty misses with a double jab
and mir counters with a single leg into guard. Hearty didn't expect that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hearty is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hearty can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as mir controls the pace. William Hearty has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hearty is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank mir comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well mir has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
