PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Foster comes to the cage accompanied by Who Shot ya. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster misses with a two punch combination.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Foster as he avoids it easily.

and Jackson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jackson.
Foster drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jackson gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Jackson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Foster swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jackson counters with a head kick. That will keep Foster thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jackson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Foster's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Jackson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Foster gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jackson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Foster uses from the top position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Foster will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Foster misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jackson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Foster.
