Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Sesnak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Sesnak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Daley! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Jonathan Paton and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daley throws a sloppy head kick and Sesnak moves out of range easily. Sesnak shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Daley's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Daley is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Sesnak slips nicely into half guard. Daley is trying to stand up here but Sesnak is controlling him well. Daley keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sesnak is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sesnak looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Daley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Daley wants to get back to his feet. Sesnak sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Daley defending well though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sesnak prevents Daley from standing back up.
Sesnak not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sesnak stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Daley to get to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sesnak shoots in for a takedown but Daley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sesnak clinches with his opponent.
Daley tries to circle away but Sesnak has him pinned against the cage. Sesnak is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Daley pulls him back up using the underhooks. Daley is looking to break free of the clinch but Sesnak has double underhooks. Daley prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Sesnak. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sesnak successfully pulls guard.
Daley has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sesnak is proving hard to escape from. Daley looks gassed! Sesnak looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Daley is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Sesnak connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Sesnak controlling the position easily from mount. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sesnak fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sesnak trying to control but Daley is having none of it. Sesnak landing strikes, looking to finish! Daley is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Sesnak looking to control but Daley is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sesnak has hold of Daley's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Daley manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The referee warns Daley that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sesnak controlling the pace for now. Sesnak trying to control but Daley is having none of it. Daley is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Sesnak landing strikes from the mount and Daley is in trouble! Daley is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Daniel Sesnak dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Sesnak shoots in and drives through. Daley sprawls well. Daley pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Horrible takedown by Sesnak or perhaps it was just good defense by Daley which made him look bad. Sesnak clinches. Sesnak pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sesnak wants to clinch up but Daley keeps it at a distance. Daley throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Sesnak closes the distance and clinches up with Daley, looking for a takedown. Sesnak pushes Daley against the cage but Daley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Sesnak. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daley clinches. Daley breaks from the clinch.

Sesnak displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Sesnak fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A combination from Daley does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sesnak fails with a takedown attempt. Daley goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Daley is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Sesnak tries for a takedown but Daley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Daley throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sesnak. Daley lands a high kick!
Daley goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Daley defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sesnak. Paul Daley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Daley throws a nice looking combination but Sesnak bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Daley lands a two punch combo.
Sesnak shoots in for a takedown but Daley shows good takedown defense. Daley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daley throws out a leg kick but Sesnak moves out of range and Daley only half commits. No luck with that takedown attempt from Sesnak. Daley misses with a head kick.
Sesnak gets a takedown into half guard. Daley is looking to get back to is feet but Sesnak passes into side control.
Daley throws Sesnak to one side and escapes! Daley circles away from the clinch attempt.
Daley scores with a one two! Sesnak had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Sesnak shoots in for a takedown but Daley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Daley tries to clinch but fails miserably and Sesnak counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Daley's guard now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sesnak passes Daley's left leg - he's now in half guard. Sesnak content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Daley tries to kick Sesnak off but Sesnak keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Sesnak winds up and cracks Daley with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Sesnak is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Daley pushes Sesnak off and gets back to his feet. Sesnak shoots in for a double leg but Daley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sesnak blocks a head kick by Daley.
Daley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sesnak moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sesnak drives through with a takedown into guard. Sesnak wants to pass the guard but Daley is keeping the position. Sesnak wants to control from the top but Daley keeps moving. Daley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sesnak looking to sit in guard and control but Daley gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sesnak trying to strike off his back.

That was a close second round but I would say that Daniel Sesnak will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Daley looks to clinch and Sesnak counters with a nice double leg into guard. Daley keeping moving, preventing Sesnak from controlling successfully. Sesnak stops Daley from standing up. Daley is wriggling around but Sesnak manages to pass to half guard.
Sesnak is looking for a kimura here.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sesnak shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Daley napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sesnak decides to stand back up. Sesnak drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Daley is trying to get back to his feet. Daley explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Sesnak closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Sesnak wants to lay and pray for a moment but Daley keeps working. Daley is trying to stand up here but Sesnak is controlling him well. Daley kicks Sesnak off and gets back to his feet. Daley scores with a slapping inside leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sesnak blocks a low kick nicely. Sesnak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Daley scores with a jab. Sesnak acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Nice sprawl there from Daley as Sesnak shoots in. No luck for Sesnak with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Sesnak. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daley misses with a wild combination.

Sesnak fails with a takedown attempt. Daley lands a jab-cross combination. Daley misses with a head kick.
Sesnak throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Daley's waist but Daley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sesnak off to one side. Sesnak dives in and grabs Daley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Daley pushes down on Sesnak's head and hops out. Daley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sesnak circles away quickly and effectively. Sesnak moves into range and clinches up with Daley. Sesnak is trying to drag Daley to the mat but Daley just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Daley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sesnak avoids the head kick by Daley.
Paul Daley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sesnak shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Daley napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sesnak stands up and beckons Daley to his feet. Sesnak changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Daley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sesnak prevents Daley from escaping the position. Paul Daley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sesnak working the body and head with strikes. Daley striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sesnak tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sesnak has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sesnak thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Sesnak showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sesnak, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
