Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Karusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin Karusa has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kevin Karusa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Billy Bob!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob is looking to clinch.

Bob shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bob was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Karusa tries to lock up and control but Bob gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Karusa is in all sorts of trouble here.

Karusa wants to control but Bob is having none of it.

Karusa is desperately trying to improve his position but Bob has a good base and remains in mount.

It looks like Kevin Karusa has been cut.
Bob really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Karusa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bob cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Karusa's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Karusa cracks Bob with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Karusa manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bob manages to get himself to full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Let's hope that Bob has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Karusa had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bob is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Karusa Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bob's back instead.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bob needs to remain patient if he's going to get out of this sticky situation.
Karusa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Karusa is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Karusa has the hooks in. Bob is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Billy Bob comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Bob winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
