Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Genki Sudo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Genki Sudo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anthony McGee! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGee shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Sudo gets back to full guard.
McGee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sudo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sudo keeping moving, preventing McGee from controlling successfully. Sudo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sudo looking for a sweep. Not yet Sudo, not yet. Sudo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sudo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McGee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sudo is looking for a triangle but McGee pushes his legs off easily.

McGee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. McGee sitting in guard here, content to control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A head kick misses from McGee. Sudo misses with a takedown attempt and McGee counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sudo's guard now. Sudo throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

McGee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sudo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Sudo has his takedown stuffed and McGee counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. McGee wants to stand but Sudo has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Sudo gets back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. McGee clinches up with Sudo and pushes him back against the cage. Sudo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McGee is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. McGee has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Sudo clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McGee struggling to keep hold of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McGee lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Sudo hold on?!
Anthony McGee has got the better of the ground game so far. McGee is trying to stick to Sudo's back but Sudo is turning into McGee. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in McGee's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Sudo. Sudo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Sudo misses with a takedown and McGee counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sudo's guard now.

Sudo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McGee defends it easily. McGee passes easily into side control. Nice work. Sudo manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. McGee is keen to just control but Sudo is a slippery customer. McGee thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anthony McGee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Sudo misses with a takedown and McGee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Sudo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sudo lands in his opponent's guard. McGee wants to get back to his feet but Sudo is in a dominant position and won't allow it. McGee working a defensive guard here.
Sudo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! McGee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! McGee has escaped and now he's on top! McGee trying to stand up but can't free himself from Sudo's guard.

Sudo keeping moving, preventing McGee from controlling successfully. Sudo has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think McGee should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Sudo has tightened it up now! McGee should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
