Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nolan Kloss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Linus Cromwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Nolan Kloss has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Nolan Kloss seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nolan Kloss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Linus Cromwell! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kloss fails to land the takedown. Cromwell steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kloss. That one must have hurt. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kloss.
Kloss shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cromwell's guard. Cromwell has Kloss pulled in close to control his posture. Kloss working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kloss throws a strike but Cromwell rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kloss is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cromwell is aware though and is defending well. Kloss wants to stand up but Cromwell is controlling him. Cromwell passes into half guard. Cromwell prevents Kloss from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kloss won't allow Cromwell to pass to mount. Cromwell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kloss keeps working. Kloss wants to control but Cromwell is keeping busy and won't allow it. Cromwell throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Cromwell moves nicely into side control. Cromwell landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Cromwell working the ground and pound from side control. Kloss is not content to let Cromwell control the position. Cromwell lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kloss down.
Cromwell in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Kloss is trying to improve his position. You can see the frustration on Kloss's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kloss is not content to let Cromwell control the position. Kloss can't do much from the bottom here. Kloss takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Cromwell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kloss keeps working. Cromwell working the ground and pound from side control. Cromwell wants to take a breather but Kloss manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Cromwell. Kloss not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cromwell sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kloss's guard. Kloss is refusing to be controlled, as Cromwell sits in half guard. Kloss trying to control from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kloss lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cromwell circles away quickly and effectively. Nolan Kloss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kloss lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Kloss tries to clinch up. Crunch! Kloss slams his shin into Cromwell's torso. The fight stays on the outside here - Kloss looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kloss stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kloss wants it to stay on the feet. Kloss tries to clinch up. Kloss scores with a head kick.
Kloss shoots in for a takedown but Cromwell shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kloss tries to clinch there but Cromwell circles away.
Kloss closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cromwell to the mat! Cromwell manages to get full guard. Kloss is breathing heavily. Cromwell lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kloss! Cromwell looking to finish Kloss with some ground and pound. This is bad for Kloss! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cromwell looking to control but Kloss is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Cromwell with shots to the head and body - Kloss looks very uncomfortable down there. Cromwell cracks Kloss with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Linus Cromwell will probably get the nod. That's time! Kloss's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kloss scores with a one two! Cromwell had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Kloss wants to clinch up but Cromwell keeps it at a distance. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cromwell. A jab from Kloss does it's job there. Kloss doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cromwell counters with a takedown into side control. Kloss gets back to half guard. Cromwell passes to side control. Kloss is not content to let Cromwell control the position. Linus Cromwell has got the better of the ground game so far. Cromwell working the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cromwell working away. Cromwell scores with a couple of short elbows. Cromwell controls the position. Cromwell landing a few strikes. Cromwell just content to control the position. Kloss is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Cromwell has just dragged him back down to the mat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kloss taking punishment in the form of punches.
Cromwell is looking to take a break and control but Kloss is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Cromwell working the head with strikes. Cromwell working the head and body with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kloss is looking to regain half guard here but Cromwell keeps moving and retains side control. Kloss is trying to get back to his feet. Cromwell just content to control the position. Cromwell trying to control the position but Kloss is working away. Cromwell controlling the position. Kloss is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Cromwell working the head and body with strikes. Cromwell cracks Kloss with an elbow. That is naaassty.

He's shot a load of snot all down Kloss's shoulder. That is not cool. Cromwell has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Cromwell is looking to take a break and control but Kloss is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Cromwell scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kloss to see if he's OK.

Despite being in the dominant position, Linus Cromwell just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kloss tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Cromwell counters with a takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cromwell is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kloss will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Cromwell creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kloss is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cromwell off and has taken his back! Kloss has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Cromwell has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kloss tries to clinch but fails miserably and Cromwell counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cromwell connects with a couple of short punches. Kloss keeping moving, preventing Cromwell from controlling successfully. Kloss is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Cromwell wants to control from the top but Kloss keeps moving. Cromwell pushing down on Kloss's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Cromwell trying to control the action but Kloss is working from the bottom. Cromwell scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Kloss has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. And that's the end of the fight! Linus Cromwell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Cromwell winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
