Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bam Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanzo Chiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bam shoots in and bounces Chiba off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Chiba is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bam controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Bamis looking to pass into half guard but Chiba pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Chiba is in guard.
Bam pulls Chiba in close to his closed guard and prevents Chiba from doing any damage or advancing position.

Chiba drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bam manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Chiba has Bam in his guard.
Bam sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Chiba's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bam is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Bam throws a big right hand that misses.
Bam looking to sit in guard and control but Chiba gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Chiba trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Bam manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bam pushing down on Chiba's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Bam is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Chiba has managed to free his arm - good work.
Bam is breathing heavily.
Bam tries to pass to full mount but Chiba defends it.

Chiba is defending against the submission attempts here by Bam.

Chiba makes his way to full guard, as Bam worked for a kimura.
Chiba is pulling down on Bam's head. It's preventing any offense from Bam, at least for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bamis looking to pass into half guard but Chiba pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Chiba is in guard.

Chiba drops back looking for a leg! Bam is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bam manages to kick Chiba off! Chiba jumps back into Bam's guard.
Bam not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bam Bam dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Chiba tries to clinch up but Bam circles away and keeps his distance.

Bam closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Chiba did well to prevent Bam getting side control.
Chiba keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Bam works his foot free and advances to mount.
Chiba is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bam throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Bam misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Bam goes for an armbar but Chiba turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Chiba.

Chiba drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Chiba as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Bam screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Chiba! Nice submission victory there!
