Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Janek Jankowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Fieri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ken Fieri is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Janek Jankowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ken Fieri!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fieri ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fieri looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jankowski.
Fieri keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jankowski tries a head kick but it misses.
Jankowski tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fieri swivels and escapes.

Fieri tries to close the distance and clinch but Jankowski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jankowski manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Jankowski is doing well to control the position and prevent Fieri from advancing to side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jankowski is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fieri's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fieri's back!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jankowski is looking for the choke from the back position but Fieri is controlling his hands well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Jankowski is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fieri is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Jankowski lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jankowski tries to clinch but Fieri moves away
and Fieri counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Fieri doesn't manage to clinch there - Jankowski circles away.
Fieri changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jankowski tries to avoid it but Fieri manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jankowski to the ground. Jankowski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jankowski shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fieri sprawls well. Fieri wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jankowski gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Horrible takedown by Fieri or perhaps it was just good defense by Jankowski which made him look bad.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fieri keeps control of Jankowski as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Fieri breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Fieri counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jankowski!

Fieri cracks Jankowski with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jankowski is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Fieri throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fieri can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jankowski is looking to escape.

Ken Fieri showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Fieri is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jankowski can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Ken Fieri.
Well Fieri has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
