Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Luke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cup Coffee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peter Luke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cup Coffee! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coffee fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Coffee fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Luke fails to land with a series of punches.
Luke is looking to clinch but Coffee is avoiding it.
Luke clinches up against the cage. Luke with a knee to the head.
It looks like Cup Coffee has been cut. Coffee gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Luke is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Luke is trying to stand.
Coffee is figuring out what he wants to do next. Coffee looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Coffee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Luke does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Luke tries to get to full guard but Coffee has control of the leg. Coffee passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Luke!
That's one minute gone in the round. Coffee is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Luke has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Luke is looking to improve his position but Coffee isn't that keen on the idea. Coffee working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Coffee is going olschool here, as he tries to force Luke to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Luke shrugs it off. Coffee looks gassed! Coffee tries to control but Luke wriggling away. Luke wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coffee controlling from mount. Coffee tries to control but Luke wriggling away. Luke knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coffee on the ground. Luke is trying to escape the mount.
Coffee forces the positional change into back control. Luke is trying to get back to his feet but Coffee has full control of the position and if anything, Luke has just worked his way into a worse spot. Luke wants to escape the position.
Coffee is persistently looking for the submission but Luke is defending it well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Luke tries to escape but Coffee has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Coffee is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Luke tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Luke working to try and regain half guard.
Coffee takes Luke's back. Coffee looking for the choke but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Luke showing good submission defense here.
Coffee working for a choke but Luke is defending well. Luke trying to get back to his feet but Coffee is in full control for now. Coffee struggling to keep hold of the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cup Coffee dominated that round. The cut man is working on Cup Coffee's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Coffee has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Luke tries to clinch but Coffee is having none of it. Luke is looking to clinch but Coffee is avoiding it.
Luke is looking to clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position. Coffee tries to score a body lock takedown but Luke shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Coffee is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Luke can't fight it off and eventually Coffee manages to take the fight to the floor. Luke looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Luke has his feet on Coffee's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. No luck with that takedown attempt from Coffee. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Coffee circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Coffee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Luke pinned against the cage. Luke gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Peter Luke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cup Coffee. Luke tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Coffee shoots in for a takedown but Luke shows good takedown defense. Luke tries to clinch up. Luke tries to clinch but fails miserably and Coffee counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Luke! You get the feeling that Luke really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Coffee working for a submission but Luke is keeping him at bay. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Coffee looking to control but Luke is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Cup Coffee has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coffee has hold of Luke's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Luke manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Coffee controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A nice elbow there by Coffee. Coffee with good strikes from the mount here! Luke working to try and regain half guard.
Coffee is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Coffee extends the arm and Luke is forced to tap!
